New Community Authority

New Community Authorities encourage the orderly development of well planned, diversified and economically sound new communities. The Marble Cliff Quarry Community Authority (“NCA”) was created by the City in 2019 to revitalize the Quarry Trails area. The NCA was established pursuant to Chapter 349 of the Ohio Revised Code. The NCA is capable of levying a Community Development Charge on property owners at Quarry Trails. The Community Development Charge offsets the 100% tax abatement by approximately half.
